If you’ve heard about InboxDollars, you might be wondering if it’s legit and whether you can make money using it. You might also be wondering if there are better alternatives. You’re trying to figure out if spending your time on this website is worth it. This InboxDollars review will go over all of that information for you, so keep reading!

Inbox Dollars

How Does InboxDollars Work?

InboxDollars is a website that pays you to complete easy tasks online. They also have a $5 sign-up bonus. However, you can’t cash out until you’ve earned $30. You can also earn virtual scratch cards. While most scratch cards reward members $0.05 to $0.25, members can earn up to $5, $,10, $25, and more.

Aside from the virtual scratch cards, there are several ways to earn money, including taking paid online surveys, watching videos, playing games, shopping, reading emails, and more. You also get access to free coupons.

InboxDollars Surveys

Taking online surveys is one of the main ways to make money on InboxDollars. According to InboxDollars, most of their online surveys pay from $0.50 to $5.00 and take 3 to 25 minutes to complete. They also say that some online surveys can pay from $10 to $20, or more if you match the demographic profile they are looking for. However, this isn’t always the case. There are surveys where you could spend 20 minutes completing it only to get $0.25.

InboxDollars Videos

Another popular way that people earn money on InboxDollars is by watching videos. Big brands pay InboxDollars to have members view short snippets of movie trailers or new products/services. You get paid to watch advertisements, and since you’re already watching ads, you might as well get paid to do it.

InboxDollars Free Games

InboxDollars has its own games like Monkey Bubble Shooter, Mahjong Solitaire, Outspell, and Candy Jam. You get to play games like this to earn cash. However, it might require you to install invasive third-party apps or other software to play them, so be careful with any downloads you make.

InboxDollars Paid Shopping

There are quite a few apps out there, such as Ibotta and other apps like Ibotta, that offer cashback for shopping; InboxDollars does as well! If you love to shop, InboxDollars paid shopping is for you. They have partnered with various big-name brands like Macy’s, Best Buy, Kohl’s, Groupon, and more. With their paid shopping, you earn cashback for every online purchase you make. They have tons of coupon codes you can apply when you checkout online.

InboxDollars Paid Email

With InboxDollars paid email, you get offers sent to your email, and you get paid for reading the emails. For additional earning opportunities, you can complete the offer you receive. You do need to opt-in to this service of receiving paid emails from InboxDollars, though.

InboxDollars Coupons

InboxDollars also gives you coupons for groceries, home, beauty, and more. You get money for printing coupons. Earnings are $0.01 per coupon printed up to 25, plus $0.10 per coupon redeemed.

InboxDollars Offers

The InboxDollars “offers” portion of the website, provides various offers you can make money on. The offers range, but some examples are:

  • Earn $40 to become an UberEats driver.
  • Earn $5 on your first DoorDash order.
  • Earning $20 to install the Empower app and investing $10 into it.

This is the portion of the website where you can make the most amount of money.

Inbox Dollars Refer A Friend

For every friend you refer, you get 30% of their lifetime earnings. If you refer a lot of friends to sign up, and they use the website consistently, this could add up.

The Pros And Cons Of Using InboxDollars

Now that you know how InboxDollars works, you want to know the pros and cons of using InboxDollars.

Here are the main pros of using InboxDollars:

  • Signing up for InboxDollars is entirely free, and you get a $5 sign-up bonus, so that’s free money right off the bat.
  • The website itself is easy to use, and none of the methods for earning money require a lot of skill.
  • If you can make the initial $30 on InboxDollars, that money will get sent to your home via check.
  • Once you make $30, you will become a gold member, which will allow you to receive checks weekly.

Here are the cons of using InboxDollars:

  • It will take a long time to cash out. Making $30 will be difficult because of how little you make for each activity that you complete. Surveys can take a long time for very little pay.
  • It can take two weeks to get paid.
  • Sometimes you don’t qualify for surveys.
  • There is a 3% fee for outgoing payments.

Best Way To Make A Lot Of Money With InboxDollars

Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to make a lot of money. However, if you want the most passive way to make money that isn’t going to take tons of time to earn a few cents, you should stick mainly with watching videos or playing games.

Watching videos doesn’t require much effort. All you have to do is play the video while you do other things like cooking dinner, unlike a survey where you have to spend time answering questions.

Also, some of the offers mentioned before are pretty decent. Why not make extra money to work and make more money (i.e., become an UberEats driver)? As mentioned previously, if you are big on shopping, take advantage of their coupons since you are already spending money.

You could also refer a ton of friends and make more money off them, but that would require everyone you know to sign up and use the website. Because it is hard to make a lot of money, not all of your friends and family are going to want to spend hours filling out surveys.

InboxDollars Alternatives

While there are other websites like InboxDollars, they are all similar in that it is going to take a lot of time to make money. However, if you decide to go with the watching videos route, you could sign up for multiple of these websites and have multiple videos going at one time on various devices. If you were to do that, you could earn $2-$5 an hour just for watching videos.

Some of the alternatives similar to InboxDollars are:

While I won’t recommend InboxDollars for taking surveys, an alternative that you can use to make more money on surveys would be Vindale Research. They pay decent amounts for their surveys and can even pay up to $50 per survey.

Is InboxDollars Worth It?

If making $30 a month is worth it to you, then sure. Otherwise, no. InboxDollars isn’t going to make you rich. The surveys definitely aren’t worth it if you are spending 20 minutes to earn $0.25. That’s only 75 cents an hour!

But if you simply want to spend some time watching videos or playing games and wrack up some money doing it over a long period, then go ahead. Or if you wish to benefit from some coupons, even better. However, if you want to make more money, use more than one website to watch videos.

Wrapping Up: InboxDollars

InboxDollars is legitimate in that they will pay you if you can make $30. However, making $30 is going to take time, and doing long surveys may not be worth it to you. Remember, time is money. That means that the more time you spend doing surveys, the more time you take away from pursuing something that could make you even more money.

However, if you want an easy way to make some extra money, watch multiple videos from multiple websites. You could technically make a minimum of $40 a week if you made $2 an hour watching videos 4 hours a day, five days a week. InboxDollars alone isn’t going to cut it.
